Q: What type of charge control does the 0900-53 charger use?

A: The upper compartment uses negative-delta-v as a charge termination indicator as well as thermal and timed cut-off. The batteries are kept on a small "trickle" charge after the main charge rate is terminated. The lower compartment continually "trickle" charges the batteries and has no cut-off circuit.
