Original Power is celebrating its 12th year in business.  Reflecting over the course of the past ten years is truly a humbling experience. So many things have changed in our business, our individual lives and in the world – we are really fortunate to have the opportunities we do.

We are a small US company that successfully competes with international corporate giants by focusing on common sense product innovation and specialization. Being a small company has some obvious disadvantages; mainly our competitors are HUGE – we like to joke that we are a rounding error to our larger competitor’s cash accounts. This aside, we think being small offers us some HUGE advantages.  First, we are small and nimble and are able to move quickly without corporate politics and other ivory tower gyrations.  Second, we are like those we are trying to create products for – the average US consumer. When we think we have a good product idea we are usually right because it is something we as consumers want. Finally, we take what we do and how we do it personally.  Perhaps you have heard the adage “Nothing personal, its business” – nothing is farther from the truth here.  Our lives are wrapped inside and out of our business and what we do is a stamp of who we are as people. We are honored that someone would part with their hard earned money to buy one of our products!
